Twisting Balloon Animals for Kids
When I was younger, I loved the sight of balloons. The boyancy and the string that trails to my hands really thrilled me as a kid! Gradually I nurtured that fasination from the always oval balloon shapes to balloon animals. Thanks to the clowns and circuses that come by ever so often, seeing them twisting ballon animals are exilerating!
Once I had this balloon twisted into the shape of a poodle and I adored it so much, but being a young boy back then I dismantled it. Needless to say with all that friction going on, it went "BANG" on me. Cried, moved on. But that fueled my fasination with balloon twisting even more!
It wasn't very long before I set out on my journey to really make balloon animals as a full time hobby. In the past, there was no such thing as the internet. Searching and seeking out clowns who can double up as a teacher was just as tough as it was to learn their trades. The library did me some good but nothing beats seeing a clown in action ;)
Now that I'm a big boy now, very much into my teens and I became pretty good at twisting those rubber latex into balloon animals. Not just animals, boats, airplanes and even weapons of mass destruction became my favorite. But I knew there were more. More than just dogs, cats and cranaries. I need a good teacher.
Soon I found myself on the web searching for similiar minded teens interested in taking balloon twisting to the next level. With the vastness of information, I soon found a few very talented people from the web. Man, one even built an Effiel Tower that took 10 hours! Fasinated as I was, without an instructor to see face to face, I have to subcrumb to just reading text and step-by-step static pictures to guide me through my first balloon animal - the octopus. That took a while, the tenticles alone took 4 long balloons and at the end of it, it didn't look as nice as those on the screen.
Frustrated, I continued my search. Soon, I met another clown, his name was Sam. It sounds pretty wierd if your profession is to make balloons for a living but here is Sam who is a clown by profession. He's an al-natural. If you put a balloon into his hand, he can just twist and twist and twist till something wonderful pops up.
It's complicated.
That's why Sam has this website that teaches both amatuers and professionals how to turn and twist balloon animals with videos! The videos were taken up close that it looks like you were looking over his shoulders when he's working on the balloon.
I could go on and on about his videos but it's better that you just go see it for yourself. He has a sample that can help you turn an ordinary balloon into a dog under two minutes!
So, that's my story. What's yours? I've no idea how long would Sam do this, but right now he is giving away a piece of his video away for free. Get the free Balloon Animals video today!
